LOUNGE & BAR

An installation of fifty-eight small gold frames surround original paintings of Victoria and Albert on a backdrop of rich blue wallpaper.  A bronze-framed glass screen separates the restaurant area from the adjacent Lounge without loss of natural daylight as the panels are made from glass embedded with a simple embroidered fabric.  A custom-designed and lit display cabinet hosts a changing series of objects from the nearby Brighton & Hove Museum, an initiative entirely unique to this project, linking the location with it's local surroundings and history.
